Agnès b. Le Pain Grillé was the perfect place for momma’s day brunch-turned-lunch. Despite the doucheface waiter who insisted that I couldn’t change our reservation from 5 to 6 people, the service was attentive, polite and the restaurant is just straight up cuties. The antique french decor and cozy atmosphere made the entire experience even better. We were definitely the loudest table there (as with almost any restaurant we go to as a family). Agnès b. and art have always gone hand in hand, and even the washroom was decked out with vintage movie posters (I opted NOT to bring my camera in there)
And then the food…

Cream of broccoli soup

Purple asparagus, avacado and tomato salad (umm yeah clearly not my appetizer)

Baked sea-bass fillet rolled with chanterelle and fish mousse

Grilled prime rib eye steak (medium rare of course) with Café de Paris (aaahhhhh butttuuhhhh)

and of course Paris for dessert <3.

and we got her a box of macarons from Jean-Paul Hévin
Not gonna lie, I stayed clear away from the pistachio ones, who even eats pistachio flavoured macarons? mm macarons should be the new cupcakes.
