mini festival

lol givin you the stinkeye o_O

crotch shot!

I’m not usually patient enough to line up for things, but since it was with nanz of COURSE I’d reconsider. She told me before I got there, she overheard a conversation that went something like this:

GL: What are you all lining up for?
Chinese dude : Manifesto
GL: Oh? A mini festival? That’s great!

Imagine his disappointment if he actually joined the end of the 12393245422 person line only to be handed a tote bag hehehehe. FYI, policemen in Hong Kong have really badass pants for their uniform. Nanz helped me snapped these pics. Uhh how awesome are those knee patch details?

Dropped Obi off at the groomers and gave in to the woman’s suggestion to give him a “mickey mouse” haircut. Why not? Mickey seems to be out and about these days. Obi doesn’t seem too impressed, but I think he looks SUPER cute. Lucky didn’t seem to like it either o_O

Saturday was spent walking, shopping, eating and gossiping with cheryl. Especially successful because I purchased the above grey puffy hoodie which reminded me of the awesome quilted jersey hoodies/jackets from Rick Owens Lilies. Only, mine cost probably 1% of the price. WIN!!! Kinda silly to buy winter wear right now but I couldn’t help but shop around with trip to Scandinavia in mind. But srsly? How does one dress for -15 without losing all traces of street cred? How do you look like this in -20 Celsius? Hmm…any suggestions on where to go in Stockholm and Copenhagen?

hahaha so are HK-ers the sort who queue up for things they’ve no idea about? Cos Singaporeans definitely are!

sometimes i just don’t get scandinavian streetstyle – the girl in that picture looks as if she had bare legs! basically, my cold weather uniform consist of jeans tucked into boots, a warm scarf and a big puffy coat. sometimes there are things that are more important than being fashionable – like staying warm and preventing getting frostbites, you know.
aaanyway, you need to check out this blog: http://bakerby.blogspot.com/ the girl who writes it works at apc in copenhagen and makes me want to visit her city so badly! she’s also written a copenhagen-guide!

Obi is SO ADORABLE! I was in hk not expecting it would be less than 8 degrees celcius. All style went out the window when I had to borrow my aunty’s pastel pink long puffy jacket to stay warm. Sometimes I would rather be cold…

Btw, nice blog and subscribed :)
